How to TikTok-ize Your Internal Communication

LiPU, TRAXIÓN’s business unit focused on passenger transportation, hired us to assist with the production of internal communication videos for their anniversary. From the initial client briefing, our main goal was clear: avoid creating a boring, hard-to-digest corporate message and instead focus on designing a dynamic and engaging communication piece—similar to the type of content we consume daily on social media.

While developing the script with the agency and the end client, we decided to break the narrative into short and dynamic clips—approximately one minute long—mirroring the format of TikToks and Instagram Reels.

Communicating Values

The goal of the communication was to motivate and inspire the company’s employees, making them feel part of the accomplishments achieved and the future goals set.

From the start, we worked closely with their communications team and the CULTURA GROW agency to develop a script that would faithfully reflect LiPU’s identity and principles. We ensured the message was direct, motivational, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Once the script was approved, we designed a production plan to shoot the content over two days at LiPU’s headquarters in Naucalpan.

High-Quality Technology

We used 4K cameras to ensure sharp, professional images. This allows room for possible reframing and digital animation. We also used image stabilizers for smooth shots and drones for a visually appealing and modern look.

In post-production, estimated to take two weeks, the following steps were carried out:

  1. Review of all filmed material, editing of the first cuts of each of the 5 clips. First drafts were sent for feedback and revision to ensure alignment with the project’s direction.
  2. Enriching and energizing the content. Each clip was enhanced with visual and sound effects, transitions, and other resources to make the content engaging and capable of retaining viewers’ attention while informing them.

Results and Impact

The Message: The clips aim to clearly and effectively convey LiPU’s growth, evolution, and vision for the future. Thanks to the chosen format, the message reaches employees in a natural way—similar to the content they consume daily on social media. This makes their relationship with the company feel more approachable and personal. It also strengthens their sense of belonging and commitment within the organization.

This internal communication strategy not only reinforced LiPU’s corporate identity but also served as a successful model of how audiovisual content can enhance interaction and engagement within a company. This short-format internal communication opens the door to distributing the content through the company’s social channels, showcasing to the world that LiPU knows how to adapt to changes in communication and new formats—just as a leading company in its sector should.
